NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT A

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND NOT A COMPETITIVE REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The National Park Service, Intermountain Region, Northern Rockies Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Sole Source award Repair/Refurbish Bison Radio Collars project for the Yellowstone Center for Resources Site in Yellowstone NP, WY.

The National Park Service intends to procure the service to repair/refurbish radio collars, Model Numbers TGW-4677 and TGW-4477, which is used to track movements of bison, and pronghorn from one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures and will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334220 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,250 employees.

This is a Sole Source Notice and not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available with this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed order based on responses to this notice will be made at the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered for support of the Government's determination to support of a non-competitive strategy.
