BLM-WY-NML Spectrometer Preventive Maintenance

BLM-Wyoming - National Mineral Lab - Spectrometer Preventive Maintenance Service Plan - Notice of Sole Source Intent to Sole Source: This is not an request for quotes or proposals. It is BLM's notice to sole source the requirement below as we are not aware of any other vendors who can perform said service. Therefore, this notice is for market research, future requirements which maybe solicited with competition, and a signal to the market that this requirement exists.

There are no other descriptions, statements of work, or specifications available or posted at this time. This is a new contract with no incumbent. Previous maintenance has been done either in-house or with a purchase card. In accordance with FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures BLM-WY intends to award a sole source contract to Thermo Electron North America LLC UEI: CMBPHDRMCS51 for a preventive maintenance service plan (Base + 2 Years) on an iCAP RQ Quadrupole ICP-MS Spectrometer.

This action is based on the determination that Thermo Electron is the only vendor available with the required access, resources and certifications for this piece of equipment. If you have the required knowledge, skills, resources, certification and authorization to the proprietary information to perform these services, please email your contact information, UEI, and capabilities narrative to the POC below no later than the closing date of this notice. Your submission will be considered for this or future procurements.
