. Moab Field Office BLM is acquiring services in this contract to provide for wildfire hazard reduction and improved wildlife habitat. This project will cut and pile and spot herbicide (Garlon 3a or Tahoe 3a) invasive tamarisk within the Colorado river flood plain. The work includes treating project areas totaling approximately 42 acres. The project area is located approximately 4 miles west of Moab, UT extending along the Colorado river. Please see attachments for project specifics.
BASIS FOR AWARD: This will be awarded a under Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) Task Order structured with a Lowest Price Technically acceptable (LPTA) selection process. Award is subject to the terms and conditions of the Manual Hazardous Fuels IDIQ.
