YUMA RAWS STATIONS

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) intends to negotiate with only one source, Forest Technology Systems, 1065 Henry Eng Place, Victoria, BC Canada V9B 6B2 for the following:

Quantity of 4 1) RAWS lightning kit, 20ft mast, incl WS arm mount. 2) Solar Rad Sensor, SDI, Sun/Sky, Mount, 14ft Cable. 3) Battery Cable, Dual 10A Fuse, F6 & H2, 4ft. 4) Kit, Grounding, Trileg. 5) GPS Antenna, Top of Cabinet Mount, Cable, 19.5ft. 6) Solar Panel Kit, 20W, Mount, 30ft Cable to Datalogger. 7) F6 Datalogger w G6 & Telemetry. 8) Fuel Stick Mount to Trileg Tower. 9) FTS Product and Systems User Manuals.

10) Wind Speed & Direction, SDI, 50ft Armour Cable, RM. 11) Weatherproof Equipment Enclosure, Keyway Mounts. 12) Battery, C&D Tech, 88AH, Starved Electrolyte. 13) Tower, Trileg, Self Supporting, 20ft Mast. 14) GOES EON2 Antenna, Cable. 15) THS, Louvers, Mounting Arm & 14ft Cable. 16) Fuelstick Moisture Sensor, 12 ft Armoured Cable. 17) EON2 Aimable Mount. 18) Rain Gauge, Trileg Mount, 20ft Armoured Cable.

Quantity of 9:

1) Soil Moisture Probe, Stevens, SDI-12, 25ft Cable.

2) Cable, Three SDI Connections to SDI Port, 2ft. This action is authorized by and in accordance with FAR 6.302.1. The Government believes that the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency¿s requirement is Forest Technology Systems. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The estimated value of this acquisition is $98,890.40 total.

No Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued, and no response will be made to letters or telephone requests for a copy of the solicitation. This is not a request for competitive quotes, but serves as a procurement notice to fulfill public posting requirements in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1). The requirement is unrestricted and the NAICS code 334513 applies.

Responsible firms believing they can provide the required items are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer referencing action 140L3725Q0003. However, they must provide convicting evidence that they can furnish the requested items at a cost that will not exceed the total estimated transaction cost. All responses will be fully considered.

If no affirmative responses are received by 5pm Eastern on December 27th, 2024 to the effect that a comparable source exists, an order will be placed with Forest Technology Systems for the requirement stated here.
