Sources Sought: Water Shaker Table

SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The U.S. Geological Survey is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of any firm eligible to compete under NAICS code 334516 for an upcoming requirement to provide a Water Shaking Table. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. ALL COST ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION AS REQUESTED BY THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR. Submission is voluntary.

Specifications: GENERAL REQUIREMENTS - Maximum capacity must be 75kg/hour. - Equipment Weight must be 160 kilograms. - Packed Gross weight must be 335 kilograms. - Equipment Dimensions must be (in cm): - 242 cm x 96.5 x 130. Must be shipped partially assembled, in a timber case. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS - Motor Kilowatts must be 0.37 with 3 Phase AC - Supply Voltage must be 110V 60Hz with AC Inverter - Motor Speed must be 1410 rpm. MOUNTING REQUIREMENTS - Mounting must have 4 adjustable mounts MECHANICAL DETAILS - Stroke Length Operating Range, mm: - 7 ¿ 11. - Stroke Frequency must be 200 and 300 rpm.

LUBRICATION REQUIREMENTS - Head Motion Oil Specification: - SAE 20W/50. - Head Motion Oil Capacity: about 0.5 liters. - Must use general purpose grease TABLE DECK REQUIREMENTS - Dimensions of Deck must be 128 cm L x 64 cm W. - Weight of Deck must be 27 kilograms. - Deck Material must be fiberglass. - Deck Cover color must be buff. - Deck Riffle Material must be a smooth hard gel coat. - Deck Riffle Pattern must have both a Fine Sand (<250micron), and a Coarse sand (<1000 + 250micron) option. - Feed Box must be 0.6 cm x 1.2cm diameter with Holes at - 3 cm centers - Wash Water Pipe must be 1. 5cm diameter made of Plastic tube with 0.3cm holes. - at 2.5cm centers - Wash water rate must be 2 ¿ 8 liters/min. - Adjustable Tilt must be 0 ¿ 9 Degrees. - Adjustable Slope must be 0.2 to Minus 0.8 Degrees.

A firm is considered small under NAICS code 334516 with a Small Business Size Standard <1,000 employees. Any information submitted is voluntary. If sufficient interest and capability is not received from firms in categories (1) through (5) above, any solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration.

Interested business firms shall submit (1) NAME, ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER OF THE FIRM (including SAM UEI NUMBER); (2) a CAPABILITY STATEMENT including (a) RECENT (within the last three fiscal years) RELEVANT (similar projects to this requirement) performance history (identify the name of the owner and their point(s) of contact with telephone and fax numbers, e-mail addresses; and (b) in what capacity (e.g., prime, subcontractor etc.) they performed the work; and (3) their SIZE STATUS.

Your company must have a SAM Unique Identifier number and be registered on-line at the System for Award Management (SAM). All responses must be submitted NLT January 31st, 2025 at 5:00pm MST via e-mail to:
