The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Thermo Electron North America, LLC located in 1400 Northpoint PKWY STE 10, West Palm Beach, Florida, for customized Turbo Pumps with fully compatible connectors and firmware to control and maintain the vacuum for an existing USGS Thermo Electron ELEMENT 2 High Resolution Plasma Mass Spectrometer (Element 2 HR-ICPMS) in support of the USGS Geology, Energy & Minerals Science Center in Reston, Virginia. There are no option years.

Thermo Electron North America, LLC is the only known source to provide the integrated pump set required to be configured and fitted to the meet needs of proprietary Thermo Electron Element 2 instrumentation and software packages owned by the USGS Geology, Energy & Minerals Science Center. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency; however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
