The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, Pennsylvania Water Science Center has a requirement for an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for to use air-rotary drilling methods to install monitoring wells throughout Pennsylvania. The drilling project intended to take place over a three year-period. The project magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $350,000.00. The NAICS code is 237110, size standard $45.0 million.
Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotations (RFQ) 140G0124Q0117, which will be issued at sam.gov on or about 04/25/2024. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the sam.gov site for the release of the RFQ and amendments (if any). Quotations will be due on or about 05/09/2024 (exact date/time to be provided in the RFQ). Quote packages MUST be emailed to dparkin@usgs.gov; questions to the same address. One or more IDIQ contracts will be issued for a three-year period. The contractor(s) selected for award will be the best overall value to the Government, based on the evaluation criteria in the RFQ.
Amendment 0001 has been implemented to extend the closing date from: 05/09/2024 10:00 mountain time to:
05/15/2024 10:00 am mountain time. Questions and answers document has been provided along with updated Wage Determinations, Statement of Work. Map has been provided to show the proposed five drilling sites. In Section L FAR Clause 52.215-1 Instructions to Offerors - Supplement to 52.211-1 has been updated. GS1440 Wage Determination Applicable (JUL 2001) has been updated.
The following FAR Clauses have been removed, 52.228-2 Additional Bons Security (OCT 1997); 52.228-12 Prospective Subcontractor Request for Bonds (DEC 2022); 52.228-14 Irrevocable Letter of Credit (NOV 2014), and 52.228-15 Performance and Payment Bonds - Construction (JUN 2020).
