Combined Synopsis/Solicitation The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service/Alaska Fisheries Science Center requires installation of ultraviolet disinfection units along with a sand filtration system in the waste seawater treatment system at Auke Bay Laboratory. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number 1333MF26Q0018 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-RFO. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors; the small business size standard is $19.0m in average annual receipts or less.
This solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses under FAR Part 19 only. Any business submitting a quote for this requirement must be certified and active in SAM.gov as a small business concern with the necessary registrations. Submissions from businesses not certified as a small business will not be considered. Vendors must be registered and active in SAM.gov at the time of quote submission. (v) Line items are as follows:
CLIN 1: Waste Seawater treatment system upgrades with new ultraviolet disinfection systems and sand filter; specifications listed in the Statement of work (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The vendor is to provide the services and supplies in CLIN 1 per the attached statement of work.
