Brand Name or Equal to Max-Air 180 Twin E3 High Pressure Breathing Air Dive Compressor

The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS) has a requirement for Replacement of one (1) High Pressure Dive Compressor at the NOAA Kasitsna Bay Alaska Laboratory which will replace the existing Max-Air 180 Twin E3 Compressor. Quotes shall be FOB destination. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on a best value/trade-off. Quote shall include all costs associated with each CLIN unless otherwise indicated on the vendor’s quote.

This RFQ is 100% set aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 333912, Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1000 Employees. Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ.

Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; Include the place of manufacture of all quoted products Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any,; All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on July 23, 2024; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on Technical Approach and Capability, Past Performance, and Price.

Quotes must be submitted electronically via e-mail to scott.beliveau@noaa.gov . There will be no exceptions to the time and date on which responses are due, unless determined otherwise by the Government. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. Site Visit Contractors are strongly encouraged to schedule a site visit to review all existing conditions affecting the requirements in this statement of work, and to familiarize themselves with site conditions for purposes of formulating quotes.

It is the Contractor’s responsibility to confirm existing conditions and evaluate requirements listed in the Statement of Work herein prior to submitting a quotation. Failure to determine existing conditions will not be considered a basis for granting additional compensation.

Contractors who are interested in scheduling a site visit shall contact Mr. Randy Grady, NCCOS Facilities Operation Chief to arrange a date and time to visit the vessel and review project components and tasks pertinent to this statement of work. The NCCOS Facilities Operation Chief or their designee shall accompany the Contractor employees during their site visit and onboard work.
