Consumables for Bone Fixtures

The Naval Medical Research Center intends to award a sole source contract to KLS-Martin L.P., Jacksonville, FL 32245. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, if interested, the government shall consider all responses. The requirement is for a contract on a sole source basis for a supply agreement for SonicWeld Rx consumables and accessories.

SonicWeld Rx is the only product that meets all the requirements set by the government: 1) is US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved, 2) holds broken bones in place in the face, 3) is resorbable by the body, and 4) utilizes ultrasonic vibrations to adhere material to the bone, for Naval Medical Research Unit, San Antonio, TX. This will support NAMRU-SA research projects with marginal disruption.

POP: FY 25 - FY 26; The anticipated period of performance is a base period of 12 months, with no option years. Please see the attached Performance Work Statement for additional details.
