Notice of Intent to Sole Source to Elementar Americas for Preventative Maintenance

USDA Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Business Center (BC), Acquisitions Division (AD) intends to issue a Sole Source award to Elementar Americas of Ronkonkoma, NY to provide preventative maintenance to National Soil Survey Center Research Branch’s SoliTOC Combustion Analyzer. FPAC intends to procure maintenance services under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).

This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures and will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $34.0 million. This is a Sole Source Notice and not a request for quotations. No solicitation document is available with this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed order based on responses to this notice will be made at the discretion of the Government. Information received from firms as a result of this notice will be considered for support of the Government’s determination to support of a non-competitive strategy.
