Sole Source Synopsis for Radeye

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract DLA Distribution intends to award to Thermo Eberline LLC solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available for Radeye PRD Alarming Personal Radiation Detector Services for DLA Distribution San Joaquin, California (DDJC), located at Tracy, CA.

DLA Distribution San Joaquin, California is in possession of twenty RADEYE PRD Devices for which maintenance services are required to ensure operational availability. The maintenance services shall include two types of service: Preventive Maintenance (PM) scheduled and Remedial Maintenance (RM) unscheduled. The following table identifies the DLA Distribution San Joaquin, California equipment that requires maintenance services. Failure to maintain the Radeye Devices will result in mission failure.

Interested contractors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Responses should be marked with reference “Radeye” in the subject line. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 811210 with a small business size standard of 34.M employees. PSC Code is J052. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. A solicitation will not be issued for this procurement action or posted to the single Government Point of Entry, the Sam for Award Management website.
