USDA Forest Service Swan Guard Station Snow Removal (Swan Lake, MT)

The Swan Lake Ranger District on the Flathead National Forest has the need for snow removal services on the designated roadway and parking area for Swan Guard Station. Snow removal (plowing) should commence when the snow level has reached eight (8) inches or more, when requested by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Snow will be piled into designated areas, to be discussed with the COR prior to work proceeding.

Depending on snow depths at Swan Guard Station, there may be an additional need to move snow berms and piles, to ensure access and parking spaces for the cabin. This determination would also be made by the COR, with input from the Contractor. For description and submittal instructions, see 1284LM25Q0083.docx (attached). 9/29/2025 - Amendment 1 adds a paragraph to Section 2 of the SOW (Description) to clarify the total length of FSR 768 and, historically, how long snowplowing of FSR 768 and the parking area has taken in the past. Please sign and return the SF-30 with your offer.
