Badger Fire Disaster Relief Water Developments Project

The U.S. Forest Service, Department of Agriculture, is soliciting proposals for the Badger Fire Disaster Relief Water Developments project. The contractor is responsible for removing and replacing a total of twenty (20) stock water systems at various locations on the Minidoka Ranger District of the Sawtooth National Forest.

Work will consist of removing and disposing of all old stock water system infrastructure off forest, constructing new infrastructure consisting of new waterline, new cattle and sheep troughs, new spring headboxes, new daylight drains, and all appurtenant new water valves, fittings, and pressure treated trough supports including connecting hardware.

Work also includes performing all required clearing and grubbing of existing vegetation to accommodate new improvements, including hazard tree removal, completing all required excavating, backfill, and trenching as applicable, and performing site restoration / cleanup at each respective site when complete. Amendment 0001 The dual purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions and to provide an updated Attachment 002 - Statement of Work (SOW) Amended. Please provide a signed copy of this amendment at the time of proposal. Acknowledgment of this amendment is required in order for the contractor to be considered responsible. Please see the attached Amendment 0001 and Attachment 002 - Statement of Work (SOW) Amended.

Amendment 0002 The purpose of this amendment is to:

- Provide the pre-bid meeting questions and answers. - Provide the pre-bid meeting list of attendees. - Provide Attachment 008 - Site Photos. - Change the period of performance start date to 06/17/2024. - Extend the solicitation proposal deadline to 05/17/2024. Please provide a signed copy of this amendment at the time of proposal. Acknowledgment of this amendment is required in order for the contractor to be considered responsible. Please see the attached Amendment 0002 and Attachment 008 - Site Photos.
