THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), single source for purchase not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, to:

Metrohm USA, INC 9250 Camden Field Parkway-Riverview, FL 33578 Description of Requirement: The objective of this sole source award is to procure an oxidation stability analysis machine for the purpose of determining the “Oil Stability Index” of food fats and oils for ARS research according to AOCS official method Cd 12b-92.

The NAICS code for the expected acquisition is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing), with a Size Standard of 1,000 Employees and the PSC Code is 6640. NO solicitation or solicitation package will be issued. The notice of this intent is not a request for competitive quotes: however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 5:00 PM Eastern Time March 22, 2024 will be considered by the Government.
