This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) U.S. Vegetable Laboratory in Charleston, SC has a need for a two-row transplanter optimized for sweetpotato slips with land-wheel ground drive system, finger-style distributors for precise plant spacing and parallelogram system for consistent depth control as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).

This Solicitation 12444126Q0068 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Purchase and Delivery of a Brand Name Checchi & Magli Foxdrive + Transplanter under full and open competition.
