Notice of Intent to Award a BPA Call Order against SC/NC Wildlife BPA

This is not a solicitation. This synopsis notification of intent to award a BPA Call order does not constitute a request for proposals or submission of any information in response to this notification.

BPA Call Order Exceeding $25,000 Synopsis Requisition 1114202 The USDA Forest Service (FS), Procurement & Property Services (PPS) is issuing this synopsis as a means of complying with the USDA's policy in the Contracting Desk Book, SUBPART 413.3-SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION METHODS, 413.303 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).

The USDA FS intends on awarding a competitive BPA Call Order against multiple award schedule BPAs for Wildlife Forestry BPAs located at USDA's Contract Portal, awarded against solicitation number: 12444123R0008 for SC and NC to include, but not limited to, the contractor will provide any and all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits and license necessary to perform wildlife, recreational, office building environment, and various other support services not associated with firefighting to include but not limited to disking, mowing, invasive plant treatments (e.g., mastication and herbicides), clearing (i.e., reclaiming openings by dozer or pushing/removing vegetation), day-lighting (removing limbs and/or vegetation from opening edges or along roads to allow sunlight to ground), fertilizing/liming, planting, gate installation, wildlife disking, and equipment rental activities to be covered under a fixed-price performance based BPA Call.

This work will be performed on various Forest Service locations throughout the Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests and Savannah River Site (SRS) in South Carolina and in National Forests in North Carolina. This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for call orders under the Wildlife Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). There are currently 21 businesses with Wildlife BPAs. The Call Order shall be issued via email to those companies listed on the BPA.

Any changes to the Call Order RFQ shall also be emailed to those companies listed on the BPA. Point of Contact is Tina.Pettyjohn@usda.gov. This requirement will be competitively awarded as a BPA Call Order against the aforementioned multiple award schedule BPAs previously solicited on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at https://sam.gov/content/home. The government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies regarding their submissions in response to this notice. This is not a solicitation.
