Notice of Intent to Award a Competitive BPA Call Against Wildlife BPA

The USDA Forest Service (FS), Procurement & Property Services (PPS), Field Procurement Operations East Zone, Supply & Services CSA #3 is issuing this synopsis as a means of complying with the USDA’s policy in the Contracting Desk Book, SUBPART 413.3—SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION METHODS, 413.303 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).

The USDA FS intends on awarding a competitive BPA Call Order against multiple award schedule BPAs for Wildlife for South and North Carolina awarded against solicitation number: 12444123R0008 [parent original solicitation #] for forestry These BPAs covers a wide range of services including but not limited to the following tasks: disking, mowing, invasive plant treatments (e.g., mastication and herbicides), clearing (i.e., reclaiming openings by dozer or pushing/removing vegetation), day-lighting (removing limbs and/or vegetation from opening edges or along roads to allow sunlight to ground), fertilizing/liming, planting, gate installation, wildlife disking, equipment rental and more.

This is not a solicitation. This synopsis notification of intent to award a BPA Call order does not constitute a request for proposals or submission of any information in response to this notification. This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for call orders under the Wildlife for South and North Carolina Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for DOI, BLM and USFS with agreement numbers 12444123A0031 through 12444123A0048. There are currently 10 businesses that will receive this solicitation.

The Call Order shall be issued via email to those companies listed on the BPA. Any changes to the Call Order RFQ shall also be emailed to those companies listed on the BPA. This requirement will be competitively awarded as a BPA Call Order against the aforementioned multiple award schedule BPAs previously solicited on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) The government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies regarding their submissions in response to this notice.
