This is a NOTICE OF INTENT to issue a BPA call against an existing Blanket Purchase Agreement ( BPA #1240BE23A00XX) established under FAR 13.303 for the acquisition of “Prairie City Ranger District – Summit Spike Hand Thin and Grapple Pile”. This call order is for the Prairie City Ranger District of the Malheur National Forest and is being placed against the established Malheur National Forest Fuels Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contract.
The requirement consists of 937 treatment acres for thinning and grapple piling in the Summit Creek and Elk 16 project areas. Summit Units, Summit Creek project area, are a mix of natural stands and post-commercial stands for 205 acres. Spike Units, Elk 16 project area, are all post-commercial stands for 732 acres. This action is conducted under FAR 13.303-5 for placing calls against an established BPA. The BPA was awarded to multiple small businesses under a competitive process.
