AMS Third Party Logistic (3PL) Short Term Supplemental Services (Kansas City, MO)

USDA seeks to immediately contract for 3PL services in Kansas City, Missouri, to serve as a temporary receiving, storage, and loading/shipping facility for certain dry food products destined for delivery in Kansas City from now through 12/31/2024. The contracted warehouse would serve as an "overflow" facility to the main USDA-contracted warehouse. Quotes will not be accepted from warehouses outside of the Kansas City, MO metro area. Needed services include:

Providing food grade warehouse storage for dry goods for a TBD number of pallet positions Receiving inbound full truckload, palletized shipments Unloading trucks, warehousing product (while maintaining that truckload's contents' identity for reshipment) Loading and shipping product, as directed, from their warehouse to the main USDA-contracted warehouse at 8800 NE Underground Drive, Kansas City, MO 64161 AMS plans to solicit quotes on an unrestricted, full and open basis, for potential contractors to provide the abovementioned services utilizing the procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 493110 with a small business size standard of $30M. The selection decision will be based on overall best value to the Government, price and non-price factors considered. The RFQ will be issued today under Solicitation Number 12-3J14-24-Q-0496. The solicitation and any related documents will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at SAM.gov.

No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. Potential offerors shall be responsible for monitoring the internet site for release of the solicitation, attachments to the solicitations, and any amendments.
