This is a notification of an intent to award a single source procurement under NAICS code 811210. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Dairy and Functional Foods Research Unit (DFFRU) at the Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC) located in Wyndmoor, PA , The Robert W. Holley Ctr in Ithaca, NY and the Hydrology and Remote Sensing Laboratory in Beltsville, MD will solicit and award a purchase order for Preventative Maintenance Service Contract for specialized Waters' equipment.

The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide this requirement. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1), only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. If firms believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a technical capability statement along with business profile to Dilynn Rogers at dilynn.rogers@usda.gov by 9/12/2024.

Any information received will be treated as market research information towards future similar or same requirements. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice will not be accepted since the synopsis is not a request for proposal. A determination to compete this action based on the responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via email to dilynn.rogers@usda.gov . No faxed documents will be accepted. If no responsive statements are received by 9/12/2024 at 11:00 AM EST, an award will be made to Water Technologies Corporation.
