Lead Shield Assembly for Portable Gamma Spectroscopy System

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL – Defense Health Agency (DHA) Northeastern Markets Contracting Division (NM-CD) on behalf of Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC) located in Bethesda, Maryland, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Mirion Technologies (Canberra), Inc located at 800 Research Parkway Meriden, Connecticut 06450-7127.

The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, FAR 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source. The contract is intended to meet the Naval Dosimetry Center’s (NDC) requirement for a shield assembly for an existing Portable Gamma Spectroscopy System. The NAICS code for this requirement is 339113 - Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, with a size standard of 800 employees. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.
