THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE / PROPOSAL The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Northeastern Markets Contracting Division (NM-CD), on behalf of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), in support of the NEPHROLOGY DEPT., intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Change Healthcare, Inc. The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1) Soliciting from a Single Source for Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold.
6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(b), when the services required by the clinic is available from only one responsible source, and no other type of service will satisfy the clinic’s requirement; and the service may be deemed to be available from only the original source in the case of follow-on contracts for the continued provision of highly specialized procedures when it is likely that award to any other source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the clinic’s requirement. Required.
This action is to acquire New Preventive Service Contract Agreement with Change Healthcare (CHC) Cardiology Staffing Management Solutions for FY24 Quarter and 4 Budget with a Base Year and Four Option Years and a total amount of $1,076,400.00. The intent of this sole source justification is to acquire services from the Vendor pursuant to Preventive Maintenance – Cardiology Staffing Management Solutions for Cardiovascular Healthcare Interventional Radiology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC).
This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice no later than 10:00am EST, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 by email to wilbur.swanson.civ@health.mil and cc: erica.s.oh.civ@health.mil All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the training required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
