ASP Sterilizer Maintenance Services

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity Southeastern Contracting Division is seeking sources to provide preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts, calibration, and telephone support for six Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) units in support of the Central Sterile Supply Department located at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, NC for the following units: Two (2) – Sterrad NX Two (2) – Sterrad 100 NX All Clear 1 DR Duo Two (2) – Evotech (TM) System 208V The contractor shall provide Field Service Engineers (FSE) authorized by the OEM-certified service vendor to perform the required maintenance services and possess current OEM certification level training for all devices annotated on the equipment list.

The contractor shall provide all equipment, OEM supplies, transportation, tools, and materials to perform the required services. All work specified within the contract will be performed during normal working hours, with technical telephone support available 24x7, excluding Federal Holidays. Scheduling of services for each equipment item will be coordinated via the Biomedical Engineering Department with all preventive maintenance to be performed within 30 days of the due date.

The contractor shall have ready access to unique and/or high mortality OEM replacement parts with all commercial warranties extended to the Government, consistent with standard industry practices. All test equipment and/or calibration standards, used in the performance of the contract, are to be traceable and certified in accordance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). No equipment shall be removed from the premises without approval.

A Field Service Report shall be submitted upon completion of each preventative maintenance visit. The estimated period of performance for this requirement is a base year with four one-year option periods. This source sought notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.

Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work. Capability statements shall not exceed ten (10) 8 x 11-inch pages using a font no smaller than 10 point. A request for documentation or additional information will not be considered as an affirmative response.

A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source contract. Capability statements are due by 12:00 PM EST 16 July 2024.
