OCH Seed Increase Production

The Ochoco NF requires locally sourced government furnished Festuca idahoensis, Poa secunda, Pseudoroegneria spicata, Koeleria macrantha, and Erigeron speciosus seed for seed increase. The FS requires high quality seed that is uncontaminated by invasive annual grass seed and other weed seeds. All seed received shall be tested for purity and noxious weeds by the contractor prior to purchase. All seed shall be grown by the contractor in one-acre plots using locally sourced government furnished seed.

Location of contractor and plots must be similar conditions to the requesting Forest conditions (such as similar climate, precipitation, daylight/nighttime hours, etc.) and maintain enough capacity to accommodate the workload and lifespan of this contract and future modifications to continue these plots if needed.
