Cottonwood Campground Decommissioning and Restoration

There is not a solicitation. This synopsis notification of intent to award a BPA Call order does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. This is a construction requirement for restoration which includes decommissioning, parking lot construction, vault toilet refurbishment and relocation.

The road decommissioning portion of the project involves recontouring of approximately 300 ft of single lane road prism on the campground. For the acquisition approach, a BPA call off of Region 6 Road and Bridge Construction synopsized under 1240BH23Q0001 is the most prudent and reasonable contract vehicle.

The major categories of work activities under the parent BPA include clearing, earthwork, structural embankments, drainage structures, pit/quarry development, road base and surfacing, road structure demolition, road structure construction (such as retaining walls and minor bridge work), road obliteration (decommissioning), and trail construction. The scope of work for Cottonwood Decom & Repair aligns with the parent BPA’s major categories of work activities under NAICS 237310.
