Notice of Intent to Sole Source - A/E Services - Fort Knox Aviation Support Facility Design Follow On

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, has a continuing requirement for the design of an Aviation Support Facility at Fort Knox. The Government intends to fulfill this requirement through use of a Sole Source, awarded under contract W912QR21D0024, to the A/E firm Michael Baker International. Summary of Work to be awarded: 35% Charette Complete, Interim Design Drawings; Final Design Drawings and Specifications; Cost Estimating; Corrected Final; and Certified Final Drawing and Specifications.

This work is being awarded as a follow-on Task Order for services that Michael Baker International is currently under contract and has already completed a substantial portion of work, including the Charrette Design; Concept Charette; Corrected Charette; Cost Estimating; DCA; Geotechnical and Topographic Surveys; and all Environmental work, to include the ECP, EA and NEPA documentation. This notice of intent is not considered a request for quotations or competitive proposals.

This is a written notice to inform the public of the Government’s intent to proceed with a sole source award to Michael Baker International. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the direction of the Government.

Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should be emailed to the Government point of contact for this acquisition at Ryan.M.King2@usace.army.mil no later than 30 March 2024 at 1:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). Responses should include:

1) Company name, address, Unique Identifier Number, and point of contact name of email address.

2) Identify business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 541330.

3) Detailed information that will demonstrate that your business has the capability to provide the aforementioned services.
