HVAC Duct Cleaning 3rd Floor of Building C

The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) provides publishing and dissemination services for official and authentic government publications to Congress, Federal agencies, Federal depository libraries, and the American public. The HVAC system was constructed in the middle of the 1970s. During the last 50 years, many impurities accumulated in the HVAC system.

These ducts should be cleaned periodically to rule out the possibility that the air supplied to regulate the office temperature and humidity may contain impurities. The most concerning impurity is lead. GPO Engineering looked for records of the HVAC duct cleaning in this location, but no such records appear. The inside of the ductwork may not have been cleaned for more than 50 years.
