The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation Contracting Office, intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to American Rock Salt Company, LLC under authority 10 USC 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for the FY 2024/2025 475 Tons of Bulk Rock Salt. This award is in accordance with the St. Lawrence County Government contract.

St. Lawrence County is a government division under NYS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 325998. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available.
