Laboratory Information Management System

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Central Markets Contracting Division (CM-CD) on behalf of the 88th Medical Group at Wright-Patterson AFB is issuing this notice of intent to award a new contract on a sole source basis. This is not a request for proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to pay for costs incurred from the preparation and/or submission of data in response to this notice.

The Government intends to enter into a sole source, firm fixed price contract on the basis of other than full and open competition with Medialab Solutions LLC, 1745 N Brown Rd Suite 300, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30043, for an annual subscription to continue the use of a web-based Laboratory Management Software via a Laboratory Information Management System.

The Laboratory Management Software via a Laboratory Information Management System will be accessible by username and password that was developed specifically to meet medical Laboratory requirements.

The platform contains all operating instructions that are updated, approved, and available real-time to lab technicians; training, and competency assessments to ensure current skills are maintained; exam simulators for laboratory students and staff; accreditation standards for regulatory compliance; nonconforming event reporting for trend analysis and corrective action; and continuing education resources for required certification maintenance.

Platform modules to be included; Compliance & CE, Histology CE, Document Control, Inspection Proof, Compass, IQE, Exam Simulator (MLS, MT, MLT). MediaLab Solutions LLC all-in-one solution streamlines laboratory quality management, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in lab staff training and certification, making it a valuable tool for medical laboratories This contract will be issued on a sole source basis.

The North American Classification System Code is 611430- Professional and Management Development Training. The Product and Service Code (PSC) is U010 Education/Training- Certifications/Accreditations for Educational Institutions. Any sources that believe they are eligible and capable of providing this service must respond in writing within 5 days of this posting. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence articulating the ability to provide the items outlined above.

A request for documentation will not be considered an affirmative response. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. If no written responses are received within 5 days of this posting, the contract will be awarded without further remark. This notice is provided solely as information to the marketplace.
