The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Isenix Inc., for a temperature monitoring system. The National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID)/Division of Infectious Disease Readiness and Innovation (DIDRI)/Arctic Investigations Program (AIP) requires the contractor and/or system to provide:

1) complete installation including pre-site visit and onsite set up;

2) integrated temperature monitoring hardware and software;

3) automated alerts based on set recordings for all connected instrumentation;

4) meet OCSIO requirements for network and data security;

5) a single system for monitoring dozens of pieces of equipment in multiple rooms, with both temperature and humidity sensors;

6) system scalable for additional equipment;

7) real time continuous monitoring with instant notification when an anomaly is detected;

8) daily back-ups of the entire database to two different off-site servers with data easily recoverable in the case of a failure or emergency; and 9) 24/7 live customer service with the ability to remotely log into systems to diagnose and solve issues in real time. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and 41 USC 3304(a)(1).

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received prior to the date and time below will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.

Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/response should be emailed to contract specialist at xur0@cdc.gov by 3:00PM (ET) on 7/30/2024.
