American Men‘s Internet Survey (AMIS)- Emory University

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Emory University, 201 Dowman Dr., Atlanta GA 30322. CDC’s primary purpose is to purchase: AMIS core dataset from the AMIS?2023 cycle AMIS mpox supplement (a one-time purchase of additional mpox questions in Fall 2024 TWIST mpox supplement (a one-time purchase of additional mpox questions in Fall 2024) The AMIS 2023 cycle includes data about sexual and other risk behaviors at the granular level needed for analyses that will provide results that inform prevention program planning and implementation.

The AMIS mpox 2024 supplement dataset includes data about mpox diagnoses, testing, knowledge, stigma, treatment, vaccination and mpox-associated sexual behaviors among MSM. The TWIST mpox 2024 supplement dataset includes data about mpox diagnoses, testing, knowledge, stigma, treatment, vaccination and mpox-associated sexual behaviors among transgender women and transfeminine persons. This data will be provided to the CDC Behavioral Science and Epidemiology Branch (CDC/NCHHSTP/DSTDP/BSEB).

This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
