## Description

This contract opportunity serves as a presolictation for the following requirement: Beale AFB is currently seeking a contract to accomplish an inspection and testing of primary disconnects, transformers, low and medium voltage circuit breakers and low and medium voltage switchgear, emergency generator and ATS functionality with black start capabilities. The 1200 Campus electrical system experiences frequent power distribution issues that is mostly associated within the emergency generators for the campus.

Due to the critical nature of the equipment within the facilities and the emphasis placed upon its ability to operate with minimal down time, the successful offeror must possess the necessary expertise and resources required by these specifications in order to be considered for contract award The contractor shall complete a comprehensive analysis of selected parts of the electrical distribution system and emergency generation systems and make recommendations that will improve the electrical availability, reliability, and maintainability of the system feeding 1200 Campus area. This analysis will include but is not limited to:

gathering site data; analyzing alternatives, and recommending and documenting modifications with engineering sketches, work description, calculations, and line item cost estimates. This Notice will serve to satisfy synopsis requirements outlined in FAR 5.204. Should there be any questions about the the Statement of Work or the accompanying documents, please notify the CA/CO. “Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort.

No award will be made under any related/resultant solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this presolicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this presolicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.”
