This is a limited source action to be awarded as a new task order and/or modification of an existing order RESULTING IN AWARD OF TASK ORDER N00244-24-D-0005 –W91ZRU-26-F-A001 to ATT MOBILITY LLC : FIRSTNET PARTNERSHIP identified below. The placement of a firm, fixed price order is anticipated. The proposed acquisition is to continue wireless and cellular services with ATT Mobility LLC : FirstNet Partnership. It is intended to maintain infrastructure and cell phone lines put into place, as acquired through a previous coorperative agreement with the State of Alaska. The statutory authority permitting this exception to fair opportunity is FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B): "Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or highly specialized." AT&T is the only contractor on the Navy Spiral 4 MAC capable of providing this service, as they are the exclusive provider of the National Public Safety Broadband Network (FirstNet) under a 25-year contract with the Department of Commerce.
