The contractor should have a wide inventory of surgical lenses and surgical materials so that they can meet the operating room surgical needs. Ordered surgical lenses and materials may include all major manufacturer brand name surgical lenses, fully customizable gas permeable lens, and custom specialty soft surgical lenses, and ophthalmic lenses as well as any surgical materials needed to perform surgical cases such as Cataracts, ICL, Pterygium, Strabismus, Vitrectomy and more. The contractor must be capable of receiving the materials order requests electronically either via the internet or email. The contractor will fill the order appropriately, package, and mail the surgical lenses to the designated address. The Operating Room should receive the ordered surgical lenses in less than one week, ideally in 2-3 days, from the date of the order, except in special circumstances.
