## Description

The 410th Contracting Support Brigade/Regional Contracting Office-Miami in support of US Southern Command (USOUTHCOM) located at 9301 NW 33rd Street, Doral Florida 33172 will be issuing a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the purpose of SOUTHCOM Wireless Service. US Southern Command has four hundred and fifty (450) cell phones and 65 Mifi devices throughout the command.

The determination of this sole sources procurement is in accordance with RFO FAR 12.102(b), which states, for acquisitions valued over the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), prepare a written justification and obtain approval of the justification as described in 6.104. Changing carriers would cause financial and logistical hardships and disrupt current operations. The change to a different carrier would require all wireless devices to be re-provisioned to function correctly.

Currently, the US Southern Command wireless device section is comprised of two members to fulfill these duties which would result in a significant amount of labor hours. The time needed to re-provision five hundred and fifteen devices would require members to work extended hours, resulting in overtime being incurred by the government. Due to the number of devices and time needed per device, some devices would lose connectivity, causing severe disruption to current operations and during emergencies.
