The determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items. Awarding this contract on a competitive basis to another vendor would void the terms and conditions DEA solution and contract to implement this technology and the requirement to send the cable stream in clear text vetted and approved by legal teams on behalf of the Government and the current ISP provider already installed at USSOUTHCOM.
