The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The Ohio Army National Guard intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to improve existing railbeds at the CJAG in Ravenna, Ohio. These improvements are intended to increase access for tactical vehicles to training secluded training areas. The maneuver trail will have a surface hardened with stone. Some culvert replacement and installation is required as well as other drainage improvements such as ditches and rock check dams. No turn pads are required for this construction project; they have already been installed. The trail must be able to accommodate a tractor trailer hauling heavy, tracked military equipment (tanks, bulldozers, etc.) and support the weight and movement of an M1A1 Abrams battle tank (approximately 80 tons).
