This work includes removal and relocation of sediment that deposited in the lake over time due to flood operations and surrounding development, as well as installation of erosion and sediment (E&S) control measures in accordance with DOT standards. Mobilization and staging of heavy equipment will be required to safely and effectively remove sediment in and around the specified areas. Heavy equipment will generally work from the lake and waterway embankments. Sediment removed may require temporary offloading sites along the embankments to await transport to the designated final storage site on Government property.
