## Description

Construct a single-story Preservation of The Force & Family Facility to support reserve guardian angel units at Davis-Monthan. This facility will provide space for dedicated strength training, physical therapy, rehabilitation, mental health, and family counseling. Facility will include work space for Physical Therapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists, and Psychologists. The facility includes two offices, one exam room, a large workout/rehab room, and other associated administrative spaces.

Project also requires an outdoor training area. The Preservation of The Force & Family initiative seeks to correct mental and physical issues experienced by operators to ensure they receive the right physical and mental training, support, and treatment to prevent future mental and physical issues and to preserve human combat capacity by extending the career length of a high demand asset. This project meets applicable criteria/scope specified in Air Force Reserve Handbook 32-1001, Facility Requirements.

Sustainable principles, to include Life Cycle cost effective practices, will be integrated into the design, development and construction of the project in accordance with Executive Order 13423, 10 USC 2802(c) and other applicable laws and Executive Orders. The project shall require the following regulatory permits and fees:

(1) Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan Permit and Notice of Intent;

(2) Pima County Air Quality Permit;

(3) Native Plant Preservation Plan (NPPP); and, (4) Pima County Drainage and Water Fixture Unit connection fees as applicable.
