Project is located at Military Ocean Terminal at Sunny Point (MOTSU), Southport, Brunswick County, North Carolina. The work includes minor construction and repairs to the Real Property located throughout the MOTSU installation. In accordance with FAR 7.107-5, the Government intends to consolidate the minor construction and repair work for Real Property located at MOTSU. The consolidated effort will be solicited as 100% small business set-aside. The consolidation of the minor construction throughout the MOTSU installation is in the best interest of the Government. This consolidation meets the requirements of FAR 7.107 and the benefits of the consolidated acquisition would exceed the benefits that would be derived from an alternative approach. Therefore, the Government found that consolidation is necessary and justified and this notice shall be available for seven days prior to the release of the solicitation for this requirement.
