## Description

The contract action was originally solicited under FAR 5.101(2). Market Research at the time of solicitation, on March 20th, showed that there was a reasonable expectation this proposed contract action would not exceed $25,000. Post solicitation the lowest offer received by the solicitation close date was $26,131.33. Due to the agency need of needing this fuel delivered on April 3rd in two business, it was determined there was not ample time to post on the Government Wide Point of Entry and also allow industry time to schedule a delivery to meet the needs of the Agency.
