## Description

The Iowa Army National Guard has a sole source requirement for Human Factors Analysis & Classification System (HFACS) and Human Factors Intervention (HFIX) training. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to conduct Human Factors Analysis & Classification System (HFACS) and Human Factors Intervention (HFIX) training in accordance with the Performance Work Statement.

The basic course shall offer a comprehensive examination to assist in recognition of human factors associated with accidents, incidents, and near misses and will enable users to develop successful intervention/mitigation strategies to address them. Certified HFACS, Inc. instructors shall conduct all training.

By the end of the training, attendees will be capable of employing HFACS and Human Factors Intervention (HFIX) to analyze and prevent errors associated with quality and safety events at the Iowa Army National Guard. Training dates 9-10 February 2024. See Sole Source Justification and Approval attached.
