The period of performance is two (2) months which includes delivery of materials and equipment, and the installation and integration of all equipment. The reason for this noncompetitive contract action is that SUMMIT FIRE & SECURITY LLC holds the National Guard Bureau (NGB) certifcation required to work on electronic security systems. Electronic Security System contractors doing work for the National Guard are required to have completed the Electronic System Security Course at Camp Robinson, AR. In addition, SUMMIT FIRE & SECURITY LLC has the warranty responsibility on all added systems, maintenance agreement, software licenses, set up and programming responsibility for the existing electronic systems throughout the Pennsylvania National Guard. These services are provided through a contractual agreement between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Military and Veteran Affairs and SUMMIT FIRE & SECURITY LLC. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This CCTV replacement will increase the overall safety and security of the MTC cadre and Contractors. Not all of our offices and buildings are quipped with a badging system, the additional systems will increase the security of our buildings and equipment. Installation and integration of door status switches and ties in 5-3 and 5-5, will ensure the security of our buildings and equipment.
