GSL researchers typically employ exploding bridge-wire (EBW) detonators as a safe, reliable means of initiating explosive detonations. To enable safe and continual blast testing operations, GSL requires a Master Blanket Purchase Agreement that includes all critical components with the use of EBWs. The requirement is for FS-17 Control Units and Firing Systems, EBW Detonators, and various high voltage cables throughout the proposed five (5) year ordering period. The requested items are listed below, but not limited to: EBW Detonators (RP-80, RP-83, RP-1, RP-2, RP-3, RP-87, BK-80 Ignitor) Twin Lead High Voltage Cables (1,000ft) Type ‘C’ High Voltage Coax Cables with Connectors and Flying Leads or Ends Coax 250ft – 1000ft Spool Coax Cable with 31 Connector RP-80 and RP-83 Non-Bridged Headed EBW’s FS-17 Control Units FS-17 Firing Modules The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 325920 – Explosive Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees.
