(CAGE: 6Z716 / UEI: CGF2AVBARZW7) for the purchase of FLAC Geotechnical Time Domain Finite Element software. The Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) Geotechnical Engineering and Geosciences Branch (GEGB) requires one Cincinnati Sub Zero (CSZ) Model ZPH-8-2-SCT/AC Temperature/Humidity Test Chamber with Tundra system capable of performing extreme temperature and humidity cycling. This model is capable of simulating a variety of temperature and humidity conditions for required environmental testing and is the only model on the market that can subject soil samples to the most extreme temperature ranges possible in order to induce failure of the soil structure. In addition to extreme temperature ranges, the CSZ Model ZPH-8-2-SCT/AC is the only known model/brand that will heat up and draw down extreme temperatures at an extremely rapid rate of speed. The GSL also requires an environmental chamber that is completed automated and will allow real-time readings during testing. Itasca is the sole manufacturer and sole supplier in North America for this proprietary software. The award will be issued in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code is 513210, Software Publishers, with a size standard of $47M. This notice of intent is for information purposes only.
