## Description

STATEMENT OF WORK DESCRIPTION/SPECS/WORK STATEMENT 1. SCOPE OF WORK. The work to be performed under this contract consists of supplying liquid oxygen, as described in paragraph 2 below, to the J. Strom Thurmond Dam and Lake Project. The period of this requirement is May 1, 2024 thru December 15, 2024. 2. LIQUID OXYGEN. The contractor shall furnish liquid oxygen as specified below.

**a. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:** The daily liquid oxygen requirement will gradually increase from approximately fifteen (15) tons/day in early summer to a maximum of approximately one hundred (100) tons/day in late summer or early fall. The demand then gradually decreases through late fall until the system is shut down in November. The peak demand period will last between three (3) to six (6) weeks. During the peak demand, periodic daily “around the clock” deliveries, seven (7) days per week will be required. Bulk liquid oxygen shall comply with Compressed Gas Association (CGA) guidelines and shall be at least 99.5% oxygen.

b. BASE REQUIREMENT. The contractor shall furnish up to 6,000 tons of liquid oxygen from May 1, 2024 thru December 1, 2024 as described in 2.a.above c. OPTION 1. The contractor shall furnish an additional 1,000 tons of liquid oxygen anytime between July 1, 2024 and December 1, 2024 as described in 2.a. above. d. OPTION 2. The contractor shall furnish an additional 1,000 tons of liquid oxygen anytime between July 1, 2024 and December 1, 2024 as described in 2.a. above.
