The strut arm assemblies are 18 ft 4 inches in length, fabricated from various grades of steel. Fabricator must have one of the following AISC certifications: IBR: Certified Bridge Fabricator - Intermediate with critical fracture endorsement; ABR: Certified Bridge Fabricator - Advanced with fracture critical endorsement; or HYD: Certified Hydraulic Steel Structures Fabricator (includes fracture critical endorsement). Fabricator must also be certified under the AISC Quality Certification Program with an endorsement for applying sophisticated paint systems (SPS) in Category P1, P2, or P3. The contract will involve extensive QC and QA testing for the casting, machining and painting. Strut arm assemblies will be delivered to the USACE Fountain City, WI Service Base no later than 31 March 2028. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS 332312, with an SBA size standard of 500 employees.
