## Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District invites you to an Industry Day on Tuesday 8 April 2025 from 8:30am – 12:00pm for the New 1200 Foot Lock at LaGrange Lock and Dam near Versailles, Illinois. This event will be held before the One-on-One Meetings that will be available on Tuesday 8 April 2025 form 12pm-4:30pm at the same location (Registration forthcoming). The SAME Social and Networking Event will follow from 5:30-7pm.

**Location:** Davenport River Center Davenport, Iowa 52801 This is your opportunity to learn about this significant infrastructure project and how your company can be a part of it.

**Project Overview:** The LaGrange Lock and Dam is a vital component of the Illinois Waterway. This project will construct a new 1200-ft lock chamber landside of the existing 600-ft chamber, ensuring efficient navigation for years to come. Once complete, both the existing and new locks will be operational and able to facilitate river navigation traffic. The project is designed in five standalone packages: Phase 1 - Hydraulic Steel Structures and Operating Machinery Phase 2 - Site Development and Utilities Phase 3 - Lock Excavation and Cofferdam and Foundation Construction Phase 4 - Lock, Supporting Facilities, and Guide Wall Construction Phase 5 - Approach Channel Site Work and Marine Features.

**Industry Day Highlights:** Attend the presentation with detailed information about the project scope, timeline, and specific requirements for each phase. Get your questions answered by USACE representatives and project engineers during Q&A. Network with potential prime contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to explore partnerships and innovative solutions. Presentation will include:
