## Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure RIEGL VZ-400i, 3D Laser Scanning System, biennial maintenance on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold and only one source reasonably available. This potential sole source requirement with: RIEGL USA, INC., 14707 W Colonial Drive.

**LFZ9G2AQZG93 CAGE:** 1RMP5. All maintenance that would be procured for this potential contract are commercial items and the resulting contract would be awarded as firm-fixed-priced. Award is anticipated in November of 2024 and the estimated dollar value is $15,000.00.

**REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION:** RIEGL VZ-400i, 3D Laser Scanning System, biennial maintenance. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541370 - Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services with a size standard of not to exceed $19 Million. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued. However, any small-business firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer in the form of a capability statement.

Supporting evidence shall be in sufficient detail that demonstrates the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must be furnished to the point of contact listed below. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, will not reimburse for any costs connected with supplying sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed.
